Amalgamating Veganism and Yoga

Yogific, a yoga studio based in London, organized a unique Yoga and Vegan food festival at Spring Meadows Public School, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi on 26th November 2017. This festival till now was being held only across Europe and for the first time it happened in India in the capital city. The festival aimed at Veganism, how is it different from vegetarianism, adopting Veganism and yoga as a lifestyle, witnessed a good turnout of enthusiasts and a positive response from all visitors.

The festival in New Delhi had the presence and association with brands like, Yogic Herald, Body Shop, Hith Yoga and White Club among others. The event included several attractions, like, meditation sessions, Yoga classes by experts, workshops, vegan delicacies, vegan cookery demos, Yoga and Health magazines, vegan food market and live music. There were a variety of vegan food stalls serving delicious yet healthy Mediterranean, Mexican, Italian, Malaysian and Indian cuisine.

The first ever Yoga and Vegan food festival in Delhi, had a gathering of over 30 yoga teachers and vegan activists from all over India.

Yogific is a creation of Kriti Sachdeva, a renowned fitness instructor and a vegan yoga trainer from UK. According to Kriti, “It is very important to go vegan and adopt yoga in our lifestyle to live a healthy and environmental friendly life. We have inaugurated this festival in New Delhi in India and are overwhelmed to see the wonderful response and participation of people over here. Now we are keen to organize more such events across India in future.”
